As an Advisor - Communications for our Construction Consulting team at Ardent Consulting Services, your pivotal role will involve blending your communication expertise with the dynamic field of construction. Here are the key responsibilities

1. Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement communication plans aligned with the objectives of construction projects and the overall consultancy goals.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, government agencies, and the community. Ensure effective communication channels are established.
3. Project Messaging: Craft clear and compelling messages related to construction projects, translating technical information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
4. Content Development: Create written and visual content for project proposals, presentations, reports, and other materials, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and updates.
5. Media and Public Relations: Manage media relations, press releases, and public communications related to construction projects. Work to enhance the public image and reputation of the consultancy in the construction industry.
6. Internal Communication: Facilitate effective internal communication within the construction team and across the organisation, ensuring everyone is informed about project progress, goals, and updates.
7. Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans specific to construction projects, addressing issues promptly and maintaining a positive public perception.
8. Brand Management: Ensure that all communication aligns with the consultancy's brand strategy, reflecting a consistent and positive image for construction projects.
9. Technical Communication: Translate complex technical details into clear and concise language, making project information accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Collaboration with Construction Teams: Work closely with construction managers, engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather insights and technical details, ensuring accurate and comprehensive communication.
11. Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyse communication metrics, media coverage, and stakeholder feedback to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make continuous improvements.

Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a focus on the construction industry being advantageous.
